The Clean Energy Partnership is a first-in-the-nation approach that partners the City of Minneapolis with Xcel Energy and CenterPoint Energy, the City’s electric and natural gas utility providers, to help the City reach its greenhouse gas emission reduction goals through energy conservation and renewable energy. The Minneapolis Climate Equity Plan sets the City’s climate goals and informs Partnership activities. The Energy Vision Advisory Committee (EVAC) is charged with reviewing and providing feedback on the biennial work plan and measurement and performance reports; providing feedback on special initiatives as requested by the Board; and communicating to members’ respective constituencies about EVAC and Board decisions and activities. Members should be a resident, business or organization located within the City of Minneapolis. Preference will be given to individuals or entities with a history of working in or with the city.
